After the launch of the recent iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X, much of anticipation is awaited for Apple’s next Trio release this year. When it comes to the specifications, budget, and unboxing, a lot of iPhone leaks have geared up the excitement already.

When it comes to quality, Apple is sure not to compromise in any of the ranges that have been out so far. And plus, this series is rumored to be the cheapest series of iPhone 2018. Price is one serious factor which has been taken care of and will also be responsible for a good amount of sales if this turns out to be true.

According to Forbes and Macotakara reports, Apple has adopted this series to Type- C chargers for faster charging. All 3 models will support the wireless charging, so you will be able to use your existing Wireless Chargers with iPhone models.

But that’s not all, it will be taking a step further by incorporating C-AUTH which means that no third-party cables can be used unless licensed by Apple to avoid damage and keep the device secure.

When it comes to the screen resolution and size, Apple has been finicky and it also makes Apple, THE APPLE. This new series doesn’t plan to disappoint you either. The models are designed in 5.8 inches, 6.1 inches and 6.5 inches with LCD panels.

To keep with its competitors Samsung and Lenovo, Apple may also plan to take up OLED screen seriously. Technically speaking, the LCD panels make the range cheaper. The iPhone X plus (6.5 inches) model will have an OLED display while the 5.8-inch model may not support the 3D touch.

LCD screen may also mean a single camera at the back instead of the dual back cameras. However, the rumored iPhone X plus model (which can be the biggest iPhone till date) may get a triple-lens array as compared to the previous model.

Ming-Chi Kuo is of the opinion that iPhone 2018 plans to scarps out all forms of touch recognition systems and the authentication would be via facial recognition method. The flagship should be around $1,100- $ 100 and the range will differ as per dual sim and single sim card slot options.

When it comes to the handset color, one can expect a whole new set of bold and quirky colors which is kind off similar to what Apple did with 5c series. Comparing the two, this range is much more stylish and sleeker. This could be one of the nasty surprises which will shoot up its sales.

The design is inspired from iPhone X with no camera notch and home button on the top of the screen as seen from the leaked pictures. This entire shift to the gesture-based navigation system is one move Apple may plan to carry forward with its future range of models. It is backed up with a True-Depth Camera system that supports Face ID.

As always, the launch of the Apple Trio 2018 can be expected around September.
